In that case, the shots would also have been contributory to the alleged collision with the officer, preventing the woman from both braking and from steering away.
I just wanted to point out that the purpose was to stop the acceleration not momentum, as I believe Putnam quoted. Idk about you but the dead can't accelerate and as soon as she did that car became a weapon pointed at the officer. If I point a firearm at someone and shoot and they jump out the way, I still have a deadly weapon I just fired at someone, hypothetically. I haven't been following this, but if he wasn't by the book, it'll be thrown at him. How do I know? Because the state always saves itself at the expense of any officer that doesn't. Floyd situation comes to mind as an example.
Is the state looking to charge him yet? If not, chances are he was within the law no matter what any amateur lawyer sees. These are people who investigate for a living and there is no bro code between an officer and the OIG that investigates them.
No matter what though people are dead and thats a sad thing
If there is justice to serve against the officer, it will be served.
It would take a psychic to know at what point a vehicle that was just used as a weapon is no longer being used as a weapon. As far as I know, they don't have an instructor for that yet at U.S. police academies.

Anytime anything is questioned involving an officer there is a review and investigation.

Didn't bother reading past that first line.

Which has nothing to do with the argument Good was shot because she weaponized her Vehicle hitting an agent.

Do you see the irony in posting about J6 in this thread and not mentioning the murder of Ashli Babbitt?
That cold blooded murder was the very definition of a bad shoot.
If you think Ross is going to get charges, you’re going to be shocked when the “wife” does instead.
“Drive baby drive” is going to be hard for her to defend in court.

Well the officer did flee the scene with his weapon, and as much as I've read so far, the local authorities haven't been allowed to investigate either. Many would call that a cover up by federal agencies.

ICE Arresting the Worst of the Worst Illegals in Minnesota
Quote:Among those hauled in, Abdikani Noor Ibrahim from Somalia stands out with convictions for 17 crimes, ranging from larceny and vehicle theft to domestic violence and terroristic threats. Said Abdulahi Elmi, also from Somalia, got nailed for drug possession, fraud, and attempted burglary, on top of 20 other charges. Vang Pao Lee from Laos has a record including attempted sexual conduct with a minor under 16 and multiple DUIs. Jose Alejandro Alvarado from El Salvador was convicted of sexual assault on a child, while Alfonso Gregorio-Lopez from Guatemala faced charges for attempted sexual assault.
The list goes on with Enrique Rodriguez-Martinez from Mexico, convicted of altering a weapon’s ID, domestic violence, and fleeing prosecution. Joel Cuautle-Ocelotl, another Mexican national, has assault and illegal re-entry on his sheet. Brian Kenny Ardon racked up assault with a dangerous weapon and larceny. Juan Jose Fuentes Huezo from El Salvador has domestic violence and shoplifting convictions. Isaac Marin Ramirez from Mexico was caught for identity theft and selling cocaine and amphetamines. Bashir Ali Kulmie from Somalia got hit for drug trafficking. Marco Antonio Heras Angulo from Mexico sold meth, and Juan Pablo Morales Ayala from Venezuela laundered money.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin laid it out plain: “In the face of violent attacks, ICE law enforcement arrested pedophiles, rapists, and drug traffickers in Minneapolis yesterday.” She added, “Every single day our law enforcement officers put their lives on the line to arrest the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from American communities. We will not let rioters slow us down from making Minnesota safe again — something Governor Walz and Mayor Frey REFUSED to do.”

He went to the hospital because Good hit him with her suv.
He’s a federal cop involved in a shooting so it’s a no brainer that it’s a federal issue.

It may be a federal issue but could of been investigated by state
https://www.fox9.com/news/can-minnesota-...t-law-says
Quote:Who’s investigating? The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said after the shooting Wednesday, state and federal officials agreed to a joint investigation between the FBI and the BCA’s Force Investigations Unit. The FBI reversed course later Wednesday and now says it will conduct the investigation alone – and won’t share evidence with the state.
"Without complete access to the evidence, witnesses and information collected, we cannot meet the investigative standards that Minnesota law and the public demands. As a result, the BCA has reluctantly withdrawn from the investigation," the BCA said in a news release Thursday. "The BCA Force Investigations Unit was designed to ensure consistency, accountability and public confidence, none of which can be achieved without full cooperation and jurisdictional clarity."
A total cover up by the FBI and ICE
