Apparently a commentary on the state of the right to protest in Britain.

Quote:A new mural by elusive street artist Banksy has appeared on the side of the Royal Courts of Justice building in central London.

It depicts a judge in a traditional wig and black robe hitting a protester lying on the ground, with blood splattering their placard.

While the mural does not reference a particular cause or incident, its appearance comes two days after almost 900 people were arrested at a London protest against the ban on Palestine Action.

They're protecting it you see. So points for irony there.

Notice how with the extremely rich, famous and powerful Bansky the media use words such as 'mural' 'artwork' and not 'graffiti'?

Will they detain Bansky for questioning? I doubt it.

Supposedly it's about the ban on Palestinian Action and the arrest of protesters because of the ban.

It seems strange to me as an American that having a sign or t-shirt that says "Palestine Action" can be seen as material support for terrorism.

It's not like there is a store selling these signs or t-shirts and the money is directly funneled to spray paint distribution sites to paint on military aircraft.

If there is a money trail though, what if a person buys a blank t-shirt from a non terrorist commercial outlet and uses a non terrorist sharpie to write the words?

Maybe British "support for terrorism" includes moral support; well then I guess it's time for the thought police.

I think the Banksy Artwork is spot on.

I read up on Banksy. His stuff sells big time.

Why doesn't Royal Courts of Justice set up a viewing booth around it, and charge admission to look at it. The Courts can raise revenue, relieve the tax burden a bit or something.
