No independent thought / hive mind cultism and the extinction of human sovereignty - what could possibly go wrong?

The devastation of hindsight inbound!

I'm kind of fearful that the day is arriving where your fellow brain-netizens can just bomb your mind at their whim...

Yep, quite remarkable really and as mentioned on page one (as far as I can see) this invasive brain tampering tech has a direct evolution from Delgado's work back in the 1960's - quite a freakishly disturbed individual and his comments at the 1972 U.S. Congress MKUltra hearings just about sum things up.

He also conducted 'experiments' on humans (including female psychiatric patients) without consent and apparently his main funding came from the Office of Naval Research and the Air Force AeroMedical Research Laboratory.

José Delgado, implants, and electromagnetic mind control.

Apparently Delgado later learned he could duplicate the results he got with the stimoceiver without any implants at all (using only specific types of electromagnetic radiation interacting with the brain) and when it comes to non invasive brain tampering there's more below on low power pulsating magnetic fields.

Some speculative commentary on potential Neuralink mandates, bio-surveillance brain machine interfaces and 'the internet of bodies'.

Just realised 'Peter Thiel' is an anagram of 'The Reptile' lol.

His association with the "politicals" of the world is more specifically what concerns me greatly... after all, it is how other "intellectuals" have leveraged their 'activities' against their "political relevance" (re: Fauci) to our great detriment.

As far as I am concerned, Musk, along with hundreds of other "celebrity intellectuals," are nothing more than crafted "imagery."

The Costco of Surrogacy-
This may need a separate thread of its own. Yesterday the Wall Street Journal had a very creepy article giving all the credit to Musk. He led the way with his 14 children and counting.

"Chinese Amass U.S.- Born Babies Via Surrogates."

The article starts with the Chinese billionaire Xu Bo who was in the process of having 20 surrogates. He was living in China so nannies were raising the ones born here. They were awaiting paperwork so that they could be sent to China. The problem saw the light of day because he applied for parental rights. Of course this means all of them born here would have U.S. citizenship.

He only wanted boys " because they are superior to girls- to one day take over his business."

Judge Pellman was alarmed "and denied his request for parentage, leaving the children in legal limbo."

"Pellman's decision in the confidential case, which has never been reported, was a rare rebuke to a little known trend in the largely unregulated U.S. surrogacy industry."

Apparently in China surrogacy is illegal.

Another wealthy Chinese elite hired U.S. models and others as egg donors to have 10 girls, with the aim of one day marrying them off to powerful men."

The problem is much bigger than we realize. Musk is becoming a role model now. "More crazy rich clients are commissioning dozens or even hundreds of U.S. born babies with the goal of forging an unstoppable family dynasty.

Some are even trying to negotiate a dscount.

"In a statement on Weibo at the time , Duoyi network  the 300 figure was wrong" as Xu's ex-girl friend had alleged.
"Duoyi confirmed a stunning fact "After many years of surrogacy in the U.S. , Xu has only a little over a hundred children."

Personally, I'm quite excited about the potential of synthetic biology.
The neuralink thing is something I don't think will take off beyond use for the disabled. Don't see the value in it.

The technology taken to its logical conclusion, will be transformative for our race in ways we have yet to fully imagine.

Is "Neuralink" ready for Human trials?

Absolutely not.
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

I was just discussing this topic with a younger generation family member who stated that she believed the younger generations than her generation would readily accept and have this chip inserted, but she would not. I had since learned that disabled people also readily accepted the chip and it appears that they are glad they did.

"18 months after becoming the first human implanted with Elon Musk’s brain chip, Neuralink ‘Participant 1’ Noland Arbaugh says his whole life has changed"

"n layman’s speak, the BCI, or brain-computer interface, allows Arbaugh to control a computer with his mind. As a result, Arbaugh can do things like play Mario Kart, control his television, and turn his Dyson air purifier on and off without physically moving his fingers or any other part of his body."

"“That is so different than what life was like before…I feel like I’m playing catch-up for eight years of not doing anything—kind of lying around, staring at walls.”"

"Arbaugh enrolled in classes at his community college in Arizona, where he has started taking prerequisites he needs for a degree in neuroscience, and, as he tells Fortune, he’s working on starting his own business—paid professional speaking engagements and live talks."

"Despite the risks of being the first participant of an experimental clinical trial, Arbaugh says it was an easy decision for him. “I decided that, even if it didn’t work—even if something went terribly wrong—I knew that it would help someone down the road,” Arbaugh says. “And I knew that good or bad, they would learn something and push this technology forward.”"

"Technically I am a cyborg because I have been enhanced by a ‘machine,’ but I still see myself as a regular guy."

"In the summer update meeting Neuralink published publicly, Seo laid out what the company is focused on next. Neuralink is starting a trial in the United Arab Emirates, called Blindsight, that would help restore sight to the blind. Neuralink is already developing robotic arms for participants, and, during the presentation, Musk said that the company wants to give them sensory control to where they could essentially “inhabit an Optimus robot” and control it with their minds, or attach an Optimus arm or leg to a person to give them full control again of that part of their body.
“The future is going to be weird, but pretty cool,” he said."

"“We’re very cautious with the Neuralinks in humans,” Musk said during the summer update. “That’s the reason we’re not moving faster than we are is because we are taking great care with each individual to make sure we never miss.”"

18 months after becoming the first human implanted with Elon Musk’s brain chip, Neuralink ‘Participant 1’ Noland Arbaugh says his whole life has changed

So my point here is that while having the discussion of who or who would not embrace this technology, I decided then and there that I would get a chip if it could in any way improve my quality of life of which aging may take away.

Go for it - hope you don't end up nibbling your fingers off like that poor monkey.

Just ignore all the potential dangers like bio-hacking, brain damage or ending up in some hive mind cult.

If you ever open up your head for one please post your experiences back on the thread.

Physical harm: Trigger seizures, involuntary movements, or even life-threatening conditions.

Mind manipulation: Alter mood, perception, or behavior—think digital brainwashing.

Loss of autonomy: Your thoughts and actions could be hijacked by a remote attacker.

Privacy annihilation: The ultimate invasion—reading or leaking your innermost thoughts.

If they must test the technology on Humans.

Can they not start with the rapists and beasts?

Iron out the kinks on the monsters first, so to speak.

It seems it wasn't the technology that was at issue but the surgical insertion/implementation into the monkeys causing many of the sad issues and subsequent animals' suffering.
