Now, a while back I was driving down the A303 in my much loved Opel Manta GTE Exclusive Coupe. Aftermarket Turbo. Went like a stabbed rat.

The waste gate was jammed open. Started making odd noises so I pulled in to a petrol station next to the pumps.

A sheet of flame like a flamethrower came out the back. Dived out, then a fire engine pulled up. Apparently folk had called them as flames were coming out as I was driving.

I was playing this song at the time.

Very apt lyrics!

I miss that car.
