Oh Wolff will definitely put up and shut up Melania and Donald, that is, if they are brave enough to face the law, but they won't be and all of this will be swept under rug with no accountability as per usual.

Then he should just run his story.  He has the tapes, he says, so he has ZERO to fear in a lawsuit. It is incredibly hard to prove defamation for public figures, so he has ALL of the cards on his side. He is just another Cohen et al. who has nothing or he already would have made his move.  Nothing will be swept under the rug. There is nothing.

Since you and I are not lawyers, anything we surmise to be the right moves by either party could be considered as a 'daft' moves in the legal realm.

It all depends on what his lawyers advise him to do, not what you feel he should do.

The burden of proof is on him. Whatever he claims in his book, he better be able to provide that proof in court. If he had all this damning evidence, the Democrats would have paid millions for it and used it against Trump in the election.

Read the court filing...it looks like Melania will need to prove he was pushing lies and knew they were lies.

So far this has all the same hallmarks of every person who "had the tapes" and "irrefutable proof" and just never brought them forward: Cohen, Schiff, Avenatti, etc., etc.

IF anyone had tapes, they would have dropped them before the election...simple as.

In this case, just drop the tapes and let her sue. The tapes will exonerate you. This is 100% just trying to be relevant and make money.

That said, if Trump or Melania banged underage teens, bring it.  Show the evidence. Let them hang, but just saying stuff repeatedly about people that they just 'really really don't like' and that they have acknowledged a motto of  'by any means necessary', without any evidence is the same as lying.
