yeah, i'm sick of all this beguiling finger pointing about exactly who is evoking hatred, who is to blame, which ideologies are fundamentally evil, and who is a victim and who isn't -- when the inescapable fact is there's dead kids and that's a problem. so i'm going to take a break from this thread and head over to the gaza discussion and see what's happening there.

I am well aware a transgender can be:  hetero -- homosexual -- pansexual, fluid, etc.

That's about as far as I'm going in regards to transgender.

This shooter was mentally deranged -- transgender does not equal mentally ill.

It is however, a semi-equivalency in this case. The writings semi-suggest correlation.

Mystery over Minneapolis shooter's mother who has NOT spoken to police since school church massacre

The mother of the transgender killer who murdered two children in a mass shooting in Minneapolis has not been able to be located by police, officials have revealed. 
 
Mary Grace Westman, the mother of shooter Robin Westman, 23, was a former employee at the Annunciation Catholic Church where the horror unfolded Wednesday morning. 
 
The shooter, who previously went by Robert until changing names in 2019 to reflect 'identifying as a woman', killed two children and injured 18 other people in the shooting at the school church. 
 
Westman was a former student at the school and graduated in 2017, according to a yearbook. 
 
The killer also likely attended services at the church where her mom worked until her retirement in 2021.

you're assuming an old model of heritable evolution. perhaps living in a diverse and tolerant society produces epigenetic changes to the reproducing population regardless of their own lifestyle choices. similar to how descendants of holocaust survivors show inherited epigenetic changes due merely to their ancestors life experiences, rather than genetic selection.

With all due respect I don't think it's evolution, evolution is something that happens to help further the species and adapt to the environment. I don't see how this does that. I do think some are born into it..sometimes children are born with terrible afflictions, that is not  evolution either.

I think the power of suggestion plays a part with impressionable young minds in a % of cases.

Anyway, they can live how they see fit.

Im not arguing the 1% can't live as they see fit, as long as they can cope and rationalize and peacefully coexist. 

There's bigotry everywhere in all kinds of degrees...but I don't dismiss when my demographic goes bugshit because they do quite a bit, actually, but it's about the numbers 

There are a lot of smucks like me if one of us welds themselves into a bulldozer, I can understand and rationalize its from a bit of environmental stressors and a bit of genetics while knowing it's absolutely bat shit bonkers response

Being civilized is wanting to go bat shit, but choosing to channel the energy elsewhere...

I would agree, particularly when it comes to hormone blockers and that sort of stuff/medical intervention.
