Hi!

I just wanted to say hi, which I think I’ve done now. I was a longtime member at ats (at least ten years), but probably only posted 20 times if that. But I’d read stuff every night before going to sleep. The last few nights, I haven’t been able to enjoy my usual wind down routine so thought it was time to switch over and come over here. It’s nice to find life again :). It’s great to see so many familiar names, you won’t know me, but I’ve enjoyed so much of all your content over the years.

You probably won’t see many posts from me, but I am going to try to be braver. If I don’t succeed, I’ll still be here….lurking like a pro!

This is exactly what i did, hung in the shadows for about two decades, when ATS became more cellphone friendly i would read until i fell asleep. I was so bummed when ATS wouldn't load for me and then i found DI and decided i will be braver and post more too.

Thanks for the welcome, it certainly feels more approachable here so all credit to the team and the members for making it a home. Looking through the rip to ats thread has made me realise it was probably nearer 20 years of lurking! It’s so refreshing to see a broad range of topics here, I’ve really missed that, along with reading actual debate rather than political mud slinging! I think I’m going to like it here :)
