I was a long time lurker and reader of ATS and have been doing the same here since around December. I finally see a couple of threads that I would like to contribute to and thought I would jump in. A little history on me, I'm married with a 16 year old son, a mill mechanic at the local factory, musician, biker, and take care of a 100 acre farm. I'm spread kind of thin, but I wouldn't have it any other way. But anyway, hope to be able to interact more instead of being a lurker. Haha

Welcome LeroytheRooster. Is that an actual name of a rooster you have? Is your 100 acre farm a working farm or hobby farm - either way, too much work IMO.

Thanks yall! I don't have a rooster named Leeroy, but that is a good name! Since I have a day job, I guess the farm is kind of a hobby that puts a little money in my pocket. We have 13 cows and I raise hay for them. Also raising a big garden this year. It keeps me busy for sure. I enjoy it. It sure beats sitting around doing nothing.

I will be channelling all my energies this year into growing tremendous tomatoes. If you live anywhere in the Eastern part of North America, tomato blight needs to be dealt with when planting tomato plants. Just a heads up.
