Anyway I'm surprised Trump is allowing co-billing of himself with Kennedy. It raises questions.

From what I understand the building was in need of a lot of repairs and renovations and seems Trump helped out.  If the building means that much to the Kennedy family, with their wealth they should have done something about it themselves.

I agree it’s silly to change the name.  Maybe a plaque acknowledging him (if he indeed did help).  Other buildings, stadiums, airports etc. change names and hands over the years so I guess it’s not that out of the ordinary.

And I remember during the Obama years his fans said he should be up there as well.
So I'm sure at some point someone will bring up Trump and Mt. Rushmore.

It's already happened. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna has introduced a bill in Congress to put Trump on Mount Rushmore.  Who do you suppose put her up to it?
