Katie Couric Criticizes 'Bothsidesism'

Katie Couric spoke out against "bothsidesism" in news coverage and insisted people don't want "just the facts" in the current media environment.
Appearing on Tuesday's installment of "The Grill Room" podcast, Couric decried the current backlash against the "expert" class, saying she loves talking to people "with a deep well of knowledge" about specific issues.
"So what I try to do, and what we try to do, is help people stay abreast of everything that's happening, which is increasingly difficult given the velocity of things that are thrown at us primarily by this administration," Couric told host Dylan Byers. "But I try to understand and give them some perspective and context and help explain in some cases why people need to be aware and concerned about some of the things that are happening in this country."
"And I think the era of kind of bothsidesism or just the facts — and by the way, just the facts without context, without examination, I don't think people really want that."


so the lady who has worked in media for decades, hobnobbing with the rich and famous and connected, decides SHE knows what 'the people' want.
'Not only will we tell you the facts, we will interpret them for you.'
left unsaid is the concept that 'you people are too stupid to understand things so we will explain to you.'

Evidence is interpretted by belief, and to say that conclusions or interpretations made by belief are real is just crazy.  Facts are not always real, just because there is some evidence to say they are real does not make them facts.  giving evidence to support deceit is done all the time in this world, and for some reason people will believe a lie if there is evidence to back it.

That does not mean that everything is not real, both sides of the political divide are brainwashed into believing lies.  I do not believe much of what someone who has been working for Big  media news says because they seem to be more interested in making things interesting and less apt to tell the whole truth or interpret what is said properly which probably would not be real interesting if they actually stated the whole truth and fairly represented both sides of political issues.

Does that last sentence make any sense?  I kind of confused myself, it is after midnight.

Happens here all the time.   The people on the left pushing all the left wing propaganda have been proven wrong time after time after time.  It’s not hard Annee when you support a party that constantly lies and are constantly caught.  That’s one of the few things the democrats are consistent about…. lying.  You can’t see it because of your partisan politics which I find extremely strange and unnerving.  

Schumer, Pelosi, Schiff, Jefferies, Newscum, AOC, Warren, Raskin, Porter, anyone on the “squad”, etc….are all so full of shit and can’t tell the truth to save their life’s.    It’s endless lies with them.  Watch an oversight committee some time and you’ll see how full of shit they are, it’s actually pretty embarrassing for them.  

 Don’t you ever wonder why democrats hate to debate and run from them every time?  It’s because they can’t back up their lies they’ve been telling to the gullible.  
If you’ve yet to see a Republican back up truth and make the democrats look like complete morons, then there’s no way you’re paying the slightest bit of attention.  I see it daily from the left.   

I don’t see that kind of crap coming from the right, I just don’t and neither do the majority of Americans.  The democrat approval rating has been dropping like a rock, just the opposite for the right.  People are fed up with the lying left or else they’re too brainwashed and stupid to notice.

Watching Scott Jennings on CNN make fools out of them daily has been priceless.  … and the clowns on the View and the nonsense that comes out of their mouths trying to spread the cnn and nbc talking points.  It’s literally a show for the dumbest of the dumb and they just happen to be mostly from the left.

Or at least being willing to seriously ask that question, is what turns facts into wisdom.
