In every single graph on that substack page, the divergence between FBI and Washington DC police data is entirely within the bounds of divergence that occurred going back decades, and the curve fit between the two datasets is very close.

Notable in that data, is a large gap of a year between 2021 and 2022 in the FBI's data, which the author (rightly in my opinion) attributes to compliance issues to the FBI's NIBRS implementation.

Please read the conclusion of the author of the Jeff-alytics blog. It does not support the case that crime was rising over the period 2022 to 18 August 2025 (when the Jeff-alytics post was written).

The lie patterns of the manipulated crime data is the only lie pattern, not any of Trump's alleged diversions from other unrelated issues or hoaxes like the Russian hoax etc. The ongoing audits are uncovering mass manipulation by high police dept officials in many big crime cities.
