If you go to twitter after any major happening, people are already memeing it.

I remember people ripping on McCaine after he died all over the internet.

And many people here call out that bad behavior.  And don’t try to justify it.  Yet people on the left still clearly embraced the murder if Kirk.  Then try to defend Kimmel spreading clear misinformation.

So.  Several issues skimmed over concerning this thread in your post.

The way I see it Disney/ABC had to do a balancing act. Let's see if Kimmel gives a damn about their merger and says whatever he wants to say going forward, or if his lawyers advised him otherwise. Any way, Kimmel is out of his contract very soon and has offers from many other sources.
