I think I was wrong to say Kimmel was fired as in the context as in contact terminated.  You have any proof Kimmel was anything but suspended?

He wasn't suspended for what he said, as the execs said, he was suspended because Disney/ABC want their big merger signed by TPTB. So now is everybody happy? Will that merger get signed so conservatives can buy up all the stations to push their agendae? Is Tik Tok going to be bought by Murdoch, Trump's new friend, and will that algorithm include the exclusion of any reference to Epstein?

I think we’d both agree that celebrating his death is extreme/extremist.

That celebrating was common and widespread amongst the left, including left politicians, doctors, lawyers, professors, mayors etc.

Left and right are not the same in that regard.

If you go to twitter after any major happening, people are already memeing it.

I remember people ripping on McCaine after he died all over the internet.

I remember people on ATS openly celebrating the mass shooting in ChristChurch New Zeland.

I remember Trump Jr posting a picture of tighty whities and a hammer saying found my Halloween costume after Pelosi’s husband was attacked.

I remember people on Twitter celebrating Biden’s cancer diagnosis.

Many partisans are absolutely the same. They use language that makes them morally righteous while anyone who disagrees with them is the enemy. Load language like communist or Nazi.

And just like when people carry out acts of violence, a whole group doesn’t have to own what some people say online. They can’t say it never happens, but if I know someone in life who supports Trump, I don’t say they have to own every gross thing someone else said. My best friend voted Trump, one of our really good friends worked on many right leaning governor campaigns and was in the room with them when they won. Both are really easy to talk to though, we all know we don’t agree across the board, but we talk productively and can joke about both sides and laugh.
