Dr Smith, Lost in Space....

Oops.  Didn't work...Oh, the pain, the pain.....

Something along those lines...
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

For me balance is everything.

A little solitude to clear my mind, a little love from the people who feel like home, and absolutely zero tolerance for energy vampires.  Smile

You always acted like a gentleman.

I didn't read all your posts of course Lol , but I always felt you were the kind of person who was mature enough to agree to disagree when needed.

That is a nice balance!

I expect you would be busy, since you’ve got to do every last thing for yourself! Poor you.

What the H are you implying?   Lol

I know who I am, I’m just a dude playing a dude, disguised as another dude LOL!

How do you know what I have to do?   Which is everything and I haven’t had a proper vacation in over 38 years.  Not poor me though, I don’t live in Iraq (my mantra).  It’s all good!

Someone who likes all of themselves must either be perfect, lacking in self-perception or far too indulgent of their own impulses. I can't think of any other possibilities – can you?

So I'd look at that statement again, if I were you, because one way or another, it reads as an involuntarily confession.

As for the second thing I said, it's pretty obvious that one who trusts nobody would have to do everything by and for themselves.

Nice little box you tried to put me in ;)

I should clarify, I trust no one online, but I do trust 2 people in this world, my son and my sister.

I am just grateful, mostly happy, a little tired and have learned to accept reality for what it is!

Nobody is perfect!

Not because I'm overly cautious, but because the internet is a mix of everything, real people, fake accounts, bots, personas, and people who aren't showing their true selves.

Some have a genuine presence you can feel.

Some feel empty, scripted, or not human at all.

And some are real people, but they hide behind masks so you can't sense who they actually are.

So I take my time.  Wink2

I pay attention to the energy, and the way someone shows up over time.

Trust online isn't impossible, it just requires discernment, because not everyone you meet is a real person in the way you expect.

Amen to that - the best solution I've found is find those who want 'truth not narrative' although it's admittedly difficult (especially when disinfo Gov shills mix both together on purpose).

Might not matter soon as many if the online forums are now being closed (we just lost Unexplained Mysteries forum but there are plenty more which have had their archives 'deleted').

Cheers.

Well, I can tell you this, if the internet becomes a place where freedom dies, then people who value privacy and freedom will simply walk away.

Not out of drama, but out of self‑respect.

Some of us are not criminals. We just refuse to live in a digital world where every step is tracked, etc.

A life without privacy is not a life, it is a cage with a screen.
