I will start by sharing a quote by Aldous Huxley that I agree with:
"The real hopeless victims of mental illness are to be found among those who appear to be most normal.
Many of them are normal because they are so well adjusted to our mode of existence, because their human voice has been silenced so early in their lives, that they do not even struggle or suffer or develop symptoms as the neurotic does.
They are normal not in what may be called the absolute sense of the word; they are normal only in relation to a profoundly abnormal society.
Their perfect adjustment to that abnormal society is a measure of their mental sickness. These millions of abnormally normal people, living without fuss in a society to which, if they were fully human beings, they ought not to be adjusted."
What do you think about this quote?
My personal opinion is that if the culture is unwell, then fitting in perfectly is not a sign of health.
Real health might look like questioning, feeling too much, refusing to go numb.
It might look like being "difficult" because you won't betray your own sense of truth.
I think that in a world that rewards compliance, staying human becomes a quiet act of rebellion.
Evil Will Never Win.

“It is no measure of health to be well-adjusted to a sick society.”
Sums it up I think.

I think that to be sane in an insane world is simply counterproductive...
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

The world is not insane, we are forced by the insane into accepting the insane as normal
People know better, mostly just give up
Huxley was a simpleton, arguing the simple
We all know it’s mostly wrong but have given up, that’s not illness, it’s a lack of care.
The op is talking about the person who thinks they are god, that’s normal to the op, makes no sense

Naw mate, some people know better...
Most just don't care, or are willing to sacrifice a modicum of sanity for shiny things and security, and then call it freedom.
I would probably fall into that box myself if im being completely honest.
Additionally, Aldous Huxley was far from a simpleton.
He was a highly educated novelist and philosopher.
Have you ever read any of his books?
Talk about a hard read, he's on par with Nietzsche...

I used to generally hang around with schizophrenivs, they are far more human loving and quiesting that the majority of the lemmings in our species - No critisiscm whatsoever there on 'normal' people, they just been brainwashed successfully by the gangsters in control who control our minds and actions, all the times making us jump up and down at the school gate to see what coins are in your pocket, then kneed in the nether regions if one doesn't do what the likes Rachel Reeves asks of you.

Mostly referencing that single point re abnormal being normal
get men dressing as women, people calling themselves gods, and political/celebrity child sex scandals and abnormal is acceptable?
Hardly
Bread and games won’t last forever and blood will be spilled
We all pretend we don’t care till we do.

We pretend we don't care until problems land on our own doorstep.
But in the meantime...
As to blood being spilled, thats true throughout recorded history, is it not?
Ancient Rome being a perfect example i suppose.
