Oh yeah... they were tracking callsigns MYTEE 11 flight and MYTEE 21 with some KC‑135/KC‑46 tankers
 I heard they might have been a distraction... who knows.

The military can black out aircraft from flight trackers and they often do. They can also spoof them and make you think its some other aircraft etc...

It's not like Trump was trying to hide their movements... he's was sending a message.

I guess now... the message is delivered.

Great list. And what happened, in each case, after the bombs fell?

Correct me if I’m wrong:

Iraq: a massive uprising against US forces that resulted in their defeat and eventual retreat (sorry, ‘drawdown’) from the country. Followed by the ongoing IS insurgency and an ungovernable nation.

Aghanistan: US kicked out with tail between legs just like the Soviets before them. Taliban now in full control, thanks to Trump's lunatic betrayal of the legal government in favour of a deal with the Taliban, which the latter naturally did not honour. A typical example of the famous Art of the Deal: give your cards away before you even sit down at the table (other big beneficiaries: Vladimir Putin, the Saudis).

Libya: US literally bombed out of the country. Anarchy ensues. A superhighway for refugees from Africa and Asia into Europe and the US opens up. 'Stop the boats'! Too late, Rishi, you pathetic little poodle. Your relationship wasn't special enough.

‘Syryia’: Assad deposed, but the wrong guys took over and US-Syria relations are still in the septic tank. Early days yet, but I don't think they're likely to smell any sweeter any time soon.

And now Iran. Where the result may not have been anything like as conclusive as El Taco Grande and his Israeli attack-dog are making out (was the bunker really busted? only time will tell), and because of which no American will ever again be safe outside the borders of the United States of America. Great work, Mr President!

One you left out: Yemen, where the only concession the US was able to extract was a promise from the Houthis that they wouldn't attack US ships in the Gulf. Which has now been publicly rescinded, so back to Square One.

American involvement in foreign wars after WW2 has been uniformly disastrous. I think the only 'victories' were in Grenada and Panama. Time to give up now, I think.

(Oh, and – I don’t care two hoots whether it was a Democratic or a Rupublican president who was to blame for these fiascos. From a geopolitical point of view, that is irrelevant. They happened.)
