We live in a sad "information" age...
Where everything... absolutely every single piece of "produced" news can be relied upon to carry a bias.
Every little tidbit of information we get from "the only place you can 'buy' information" only sells one-sided perspectives, press-release narratives, and spurious "I'm so special" commentators telling you what to think... in the very same way... with bias, and one-sided narratives that "speak" to the networks editorial policy... (agree with them, support 'their' narrative ... get invited back.... more "free speech" money. Profit.)
And here we are, most of us not inclined to wish ill upon anyone... injecting these narratives into our bloodstream. And hating on each other over those narratives...
This war... the "Gaza" excuse... the "daisy-chain" of never-ending blatant provocative abuses, the spurious death spikes, the constantly media-celebrated offenses ... all by both sides.... and all the time... since generations ago... no end in sight ever, never was.
Political activists cry out... ignoring the fact that this is but ONE of thousands of such atrocities happening right now. They offer how "we report shocking news." never pointing out that this is neither "new" nor "shocking in any way." But kids love it.
They should never come here... we know what 'activism' is... and we don;t need it here... this isn't a 'stage'... it's a conversation.
Both "sides" (such as they are) are calling for death...
NONE are calling for peace.
I wouldn't "jump into" a fist fight I didn't understand.
Do we really believe that ANYONE wants "peace" other than us?
These folks think peace can only mean "we killed our enemies."
That my ancestors can't rest until I kill someone.
Even our television star President can't live up to his hype to end the bloodshed.
They can't even agree to "talk" with one another without a circus erected around the event.
For crying our loud! How can you be so bent on people killing each other as some kind of "solution?"
How can desire so badly, that you will crush people to get what you want?
... oh my... I'm ranting, aren't I?
We speak of Israel... we speak of a stateless Palestinian people... as if it made a difference when shrapnel clips the bone of a by-stander...

yes but that's okay as you are level-headed and try to be fair
i would 'like' your post because of that, but there really should be a more milquetoast version of the like button.
perhaps implying "i am somewhat fond of your intention".

Instead of improving Gazan life, rebuilding and protecting their people they put up roadblocks to peace with their neighbors, hoarded all the food fuel water and resources for their jihad, destroyed infrastructure to manufacture weapons of terror, invaded their neighbor with 1000’s of rapists and brutal viscious murderers, and used hospitals, schools, and UN buildings as military outposts.
Removing Hamas can in no way make Gaza worse.
Sounds like a one-sided take to me.
And worth keeping in mind, the Gazans voted for Hamas back in 2006.
Which was nearly two decades ago, and under very different circumstances.
Sure, Hamas has done terrible things, diabolical things even.
And messed up Gaza good and proper.
But pretending the situation is black and white is naive.
It’s not just about "removing Hamas" like flipping a switch and everything magically fixes itself.
Gaza's problems run way deeper.
Decades of blockades, repeated bombings, and political neglect have devastated the people.
Blaming everything on Hamas ignores how innocent civilians get crushed in the middle.
If you think just kicking out one group solves everything, you're ignoring the messy reality on the ground.

Do you believe Biden was really 'voted in' back in 2020?
See where I'm going with this?
Saying all people are bad, just because they have corrupt leadership, isn't fair. Where in fact that seems to be par for the course in every country around the world.

I said no such thing in my post you’re replying to.
I’ve given plenty of rational reasons how Hamas ruined Gaza, then stated removing Hamas from Gaza will not make Gaza worse, which is contrary to some ridiculous claims in this thread.
Nobody responding to my posts seems to have anything to specifically rebut it thus far.
Hard to argue with the truth and easier to move the goalposts for most folks here.

Because that would seem to make things "worse".
At some point, it's worth recognising that Gaza's problems run far deeper.
Without a clear plan for governance, reconstruction, and rights, the area may become even more unstable.
I don't see how Israel occupying the place would achieve that any more than miraculously removing Hamas from the game board would make everything peachy.

There is no plan to help the Palestinians in GAZA. That is prime beach front property and has been designated to be demolished(almost done) and then a massive resort and other 1st class destination spots.

Oh silly me, I suppose you’re right when you’re basically saying….
“Cutting somebody open to remove their cancer is actually making things worse.”
