A sovereign nation cannot be expected to simply put up with attacks on its civilian population and territory simply because they are more powerful than their attacker. At least, not for 50 years of it. 

But thanks for admitting that Israel is not trying to commit genocide, because I can see that you know that if they were, the feat would have been accomplished long ago.

Well, there is events happening in the background there that are leading up to this one major biblical event that nobody appears to be paying much attention to.  So let show it to you.

Luke 21
24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Right now I don't think anyone has thought this through but.  With Gaza and Iran pacified there's little to nothing to prevent Israel from completing verse 24.  And some morning everyone is going to wake up to the news that the Israeli army seized control of the Temple mount and sacrificed a special cow. And then reality is going to freakout.

Right now Israel just about has the end of the world in their hot little hands.  I wonder when they're going to do it?

It’s not a war when one side isn’t capable of even putting up a proper defence let alone fighting back. When one side consists of mostly women and children being targeted. 
I dont support either side, murder, violence is wrong, as individuals we are rightly condemned and imprisoned for such acts but as countries it’s ok? 
No as countries ordinary people go to fight and die for aims and psychopathic machinations of scum that rule over them.

When Russia went into Ukraine and took Donbas in 2014, Ukraine didn’t do anything.
Where is the proportionality there?
I guess that’s not a war either.
