From the little I've read about Greenlanders, they are more so Inuit than mixed white/Inuit and although their hunting/foraging way of life is fading away fast, they seem to want their land to remain unpolluted and as sustainable as possible as evidenced by the government's ban on certain types of mining (uranium), including deep-sea mining.

So my point is that even if the people there became independent I think it highly unlikely they would want any changes that other countries or billionaires want to impose on it, unless there is an actual security threat to their way of life, which there is not at the moment.

Bringing up the forced sterilization is a scheme that's intended to to play on the emotions of Greenlanders with the expectation of improving Trump’s goal to get what he wants 

It's manipulative, coehersive and conniving 

And it appears some of MAGA are in lockstep

The problem is, if Greenlanders are able to see through the BS, this ploy is liable to insult them even more and backfire
