We should actually mostly blame the people who support him even when they know he is wrong about certain things.
If you support the status quo in a world of changing geopolitical influence, you will decay in the shadow of ambitious power such as China and Russia.
It is a simple question: what is a better vision for the future growth and economic prosperity of Greenland: depending on the historic indifference of Denmark and the EU, or alignment with the many opportunities presented by America?
When the entrenched political reactionaries are held to account and the anti-American propaganda is laid bare, it is ultimately the good people of Greenland who will decide.

Seems clear from the massive anti US protests that Greenlanders don't want this.
So you either believe in democracy or, like Trump, you just ignore it.

I see tremendous skepticism and mistrust of polls showing American's support for Trumps policies, but somehow that translates into complete trust of polls that support anti-Americanism?
You are citing protests organized by Danish NGOs, statements from those who hold Greenland's political party power in the current regime, and polls like this:
Quote:For the Danish news media Berlingske and the Greenlandic media house Sermitsiaq, Verian has investigated Greenlanders' attitudes towards being part of the Danish Realm, independence and the United States. The first results were published were published January 29. https://www.veriangroup.com/news-and-ins...nland-2025
You'll call a poll commissioned by Republican partisans or "right-wing media" biased, but this gets a pass as objective?
Okay.

If we didn't take or purchase land, the south would still belong to the French, we'd still be British, and Mexico would have California and Texas.

I Absolutely agree.
And how many times have we heard "I'll have my people look at it" and things like that. He is part of a machine that is thousands strong.

Okay.
I made no mention of polls let alone "citing" any.
But go ahead and ignore the obvious will of actual Greenlanders.
How anyone can support this insanity simply beggars belief.

The Trumpstein files are not going away anytime soon.
Especially with the Clintons defying the Congressional subpoena. That alone will keep it in the news cycle throughout the mid terms.

Every border in Europe is marked with blood. It's a new world, and they can't keep clinging to their illusions that it's still the age of European Colonialism. That ship has sailed. Britain's realized it, now it's Europe's turn. If the American left weren't so brainwashed and deranged to be anti-Trump everything, they would realize that supporting historic colonialism is 100% against everything they've been screeching about for the past decades. I guess it was all hot air. Pity. I guess it takes a leader like Trump to expose their hypocrisy.
And how is an American land grab for Greenland not just new age colonialism?
You expect Europe to cave over the threat of tariffs?
Europe already learned there lesson concerning appeasement.
