Ghislaine Maxwell quietly moved to minimum security prison

Quote:Ghislaine Maxwell has been quietly moved to a minimum-security prison in Texas.
The British socialite and former girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein is currently serving a 20-year jail sentence for procuring underage girls for the paedophile financier.
Maxwell was being held at a low-security prison in Tallahassee, Florida, but was relocated to a minimum security prison this week.

The transfer comes a week after she was interviewed by Todd Blanche, Donald Trump’s deputy attorney general.
Her legal team appear to be capitalising on the Trump administration’s recent interest in their client’s case, agreeing she will testify before Congress if demands over her release are met.
Maxwell’s lawyer, David Oscar Markus, confirmed the transfer in a statement to The Telegraph.
He said: “We can confirm that she is being moved but have no further comment at this time.”
The disgraced socialite “is in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan in Bryan, Texas,” a Bureau of Prisons spokesman told The New York Sun.

On July 22, Mr Trump permitted the DoJ to interview Maxwell and did not rule out offering the British socialite a pardon in exchange for information.
Maxwell has since begged the US president to free her from prison. However, Mr Trump said on Friday that nobody had asked him to grant clemency to Maxwell.
“I’m allowed to do it, but nobody’s asked me to do it. I know nothing about it. I don’t know anything about the case, but I know I have the right to do it,” he told Newsmax.
Maxwell has long argued her 2021 sex-trafficking conviction should be overturned because of a 2007 plea deal that promised immunity for Epstein’s accomplices. She is the only person who has been convicted in connection with his crimes.

It looks like Maxwell's chat with Todd Blanche (Trump’s deputy attorney general) has paid off, as she has now been moved to a minimum security prison.
What do members think of this?
Is it because she's agreed to keeping someone's name out of the spot light or has she agreed to co-operate in further investigations after the disaster over the Epstein 'files'?

Would it be easier or harder to suicide her in a minimum security setting?

Much easier by orders of magnitude, simply due to less security and observation.

Essentially, it's a gated holiday camp with strict rules.

As opposed to an actual prison.

I imagine it would be easier to simply make her disappear from minimum security and say she fled, if that's what 'they' wanted?

Harder. In minimum security prisons, the folks there are in for non violent crimes and will rat on anyone and everyone.

Big Boy prison don't play that.

Interesting, so they should free her into the public realm where so many accidents can happen, right?

Big Boy prison don't play that.

People and inmates are going in and out of minimum security prisons all the time, on the likes of work release and educational programs.

Less security and less observation make it easier to get to her, put it that way.

But if a person wants to commit suicide, they will generally find a way.

Point being if she was going to do that, she probably would have done so by now.

If Ghislaine Maxwell commits suicide, it will be about as believable as Epstein.

But it could be easier for someone to slip in and out with the reduced security.

Actually, she's in more danger being in prison.

If you're in for crimes connected to kids, you'd be safer walking the bad side of Chicago at 2 AM.

I honestly believe the only reason she's still breathing is because she's being protected. By who I don't know, but pedophiles/child traffickers have a very bad time in jail.

Yeah, this is also true.

And other prisoners are pretty much obligated to feck them up or attack them on sight.

On penalty of becoming a target yourself if you dont.

This is the reason they have the likes of segregation and vulnerable prisoner wings/units in the big boy jails.

If you put them in general population, they would be dead before the lights went out.....or worse.
