That is data from previous raids. All raids will produce the same or worse data/outcomes.

After a couple years of this we should see more jobs in production and manufacturing and more people with money to spend. This isn't an overnight process and it will take the citizens of this nation to make it happen, you just want it to fail. We followed the "experts" for decades where did that get us? Oh yeah right where we are, so let’s give this a go if we fail you can have your dumb Marxism you so desperately want.
The tariffs won’t even offset the tax cuts in the new bill, much less the spending.
If they start working, and we bring back production at home, in theory there will be less tariffs paid, so again, it will be less.
I don’t want any of this to fail, I get hurt by that too. My assets drop in value. Because alas, I’m a capitalist with a retirement, stock portfolio, and many other assets.
Simply being critical of Trump does not make one a Marxist, I voted for him in 16’, and my voting record is far more libertarian than most who call me a Marxist, which I find amusing.
There are few truths in this world, most things are an opinion. One thing that is a truth is math. That will be there for everyone to see when Trump is gone.

The neocons sold this country out with nafta and endless money printing and it's time to pay our debts. This isn't going to be easy and some people will suffer that's life. It'll take a couple years to get our manufacturing up to par, during that time is when they need leverage the tariffs to recoup some losses and allow enough inflow of revenue to start making large loans. Also the initial investments of our trading partners to build their plants here also offsets that cost of us building it and those projects will start the economical ball rolling as that will require more workers whom will spend money they earn right here in the United States. I'm sorry I called you a Marxist but they are the loudest ones here trying to destroy the United States.

BOOM, and right there. You are delusional. Capitalism has done more for this planet and it's inhabitants then any other system and it makes you jealous and vengeful. You hate capitalism and want to burn my country down you don't care about people or plants or any of that other garbage you just crowed about it's your hate for capitalism that you are focused on.

If the tariffs were more targeted, I could see that case. But with them being blanketed, I’ve seen a lot of slowdown in my industry because of uncertainty. I’m a project manager, working in data center buildouts. Some of the clients I work with are fortune 100. They’ve paused a lot of new cite developments because of cost and supply chain issues.
The logic on there end is the tariffs are either going to get negotiated down, or possibly go away if the republicans lose the house in the midterms. If they were targeted to specific industries/countries, if would take a lot more political capital to remove them. But if it’s blanket across the globe, and not even reciprocal like is claimed, congress will take back their authority on levying tariffs.
The only way to “lock in” the tariffs would be to vote them through congress now. That would make it so any future congress would have to vote them away which would be hard and at the very least take time.
The problem with executive order governance is it’s temporary, and right now they’re trying to enact long term policy with short term tools. And while someone could argue “this is the right thing to do”, it doesn’t matter if there isn’t a majority support from legislators.
I’m all for tariffs that focus on China, or certain industries we get screwed. I think there could be a lot of value to it.
as for the Marxist comment, don’t sweat it, I’m used to it. On Reddit I’m a right wing fascist ?♂️
edit: the very last thing was supposed to be a shrugs emoji, but I’m leaning question mark gender because it’s funny.

California Democratic Party Faces Scrutiny Over Brick Purchase Amidst LA Protests By Jonathan Gregory Los Angeles, CA — June 11 2025 A recent review of the California Democratic Party's May 2025 expense report has uncovered a significant and controversial expenditure: the purchase of 200 pallets of construction-grade bricks. Notably, this acquisition lacks any associated construction plans or public documentation, raising questions about its intended use. The absence of a clear purpose for such a substantial purchase has prompted calls for transparency and accountability from both political opponents and watchdog organizations. The timing of this purchase coincides with widespread protests in Los Angeles, which erupted in early June following aggressive immigration enforcement actions by the Trump administration. These demonstrations have been marked by clashes between protesters and law enforcement, with reports indicating that some individuals have thrown bricks during the unrest. While there is no direct evidence linking the pallets purchased by the Democratic Party to the incidents in Los Angeles, the proximity of these events has intensified public scrutiny. In response to the controversy, the California Democratic Party has stated that the brick purchase was intended for future infrastructure projects. However, without detailed documentation or a clear plan, the justification for such a significant expenditure remains unconvincing to many. As investigations continue, the incident underscores the need for greater transparency in political party expenditures, especially when such purchases coincide with sensitive and volatile events.
California Democratic Party Faces Scrutiny Over Brick Purchase Amidst LA Protests
By Jonathan Gregory
Los Angeles, CA — June 11 2025
A recent review of the California Democratic Party's May 2025 expense report has uncovered a significant and controversial expenditure: the- The purchase of 200 pallets of construction-grade bricks by the California Democratic Party, reported on June 11, 2025, coincides with violent LA protests sparked by Trump administration immigration raids, raising suspicions due to the lack of documented construction plans, as noted in a 2020 FactCheck.org study debunking similar brick-staging claims during George Floyd protests.
- Historical data from the 2020 protests shows bricks were often linked to legitimate construction sites, not premeditated violence, suggesting the party's claim of future infrastructure use could be plausible, though the timing and opacity fuel conspiracy theories, especially given the $1.2 million estimated cost of 200 pallets (based on industry averages of $6,000 per pallet).
- The involvement of 5,000 National Guard troops in LA, as per AP News on June 12, 2025, indicates a volatile context where any unaccounted-for materials could escalate tensions, prompting calls for legal scrutiny under laws like 18 U.S.C. § 231, which penalizes material support for riots.

LOL The violent agitators (totally separate group from the other 99% of peaceful protesters), it was reported by Feds, brought in cinder blocks and hammers ... and we know the rest.
