I love Cake and that's their best song

I would like to add: what I just noticed the video is pretty brilliant too.
They sing about love in the now
And the video is about working your arse off to be judged

Also always and forever this song in this version even if it is in the original not from Frank but...

the lyrics:
Quote:And I'll cater
With all the birds that I can kill
Let their tiny feathers fill
Disappointment
I'll lie down
And lick the sorrow from your skin
Scratch the terror and begin
To believe you're strong

perfection

and so is this performance

Also something weird from Woodstock I totally love

let's also end it with CAKE

omg I really gotta go now lol

It's getting near the end of the year and this music can be heard in most izakaya while drinking and eating.

After i turned 11 it changed from Pop and never went back. Rock, Metal, 90's Rap, 90's Alternative, Classical.

Got sick of the Nordic melodic metal so went back on a throwback Radiohead binge.

This video was done without reference to the music just gave the animator the length.

And really like genius I will never possess or ever get anywhere close to.

Favorite Choir piece

Stumbled upon this the other day, probably been 35 years since I heard this...

After I moved out at 19, would play this quite a bit right after the first of the month, every month. LOL, we had a nice 3 bedroom apartment right by the pool a nice stereo in the living room kitchen, and a fridge for beer and nothing else. Furnished with a couple of beat-up sofas and a papasan chair, slept on a mattress for 6 months till I found box springs and frame. But we always had plenty of beer, liquor, and other party essentials. Good times, actually the best times in a lot of ways... 3 years later I was married... pretty much out of self-preservation

It's beautiful, thought provoking and he is a great guitar player :)

This song portrays to me how we all get older and how the world progresses. Like flowers we grow, bloom and then begin to perish slowly. It reminds me to be considerate of older people with lot's of life experience and not to forget the impact and legacy they had and still have.

A German song, probably not to the taste of most anyways but the core message:
"It's not your fault that the world is how it is, but it would be your fault if it stays like that"

Some might say this is just noise, for me it is a colorful light show and like a roller coaster ride with closed eyes :)
