The Federal Aviation Administration has grounded all flights to and from El Paso International Airport in Texas for the next 10 days, the agency announced Wednesday
All flights to and from El Paso are grounded, including commercial, cargo and general aviation. The restriction is effective from February 10 at 11:30 PM (MST) to February 20 at 11:30PM (MST). The FAA cited "special security reasons" for the closure, but did not elaborate.
The no-fly restriction applies to airspace over El Paso as well as nearby Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
The FAA has classified the airspace as "national defense airspace," with the notification saying deadly force could be used on craft violating the airspace if they are deemed to pose "an imminent security threat."

It has to be something pretty serious to make it a no fly zone and authorizes deadly force.

Bomb threts are not normally the issue you close an airport down for 10 dys, the cops most often clean the area in less time than ten days.

Potential terror attack, that to me hints at a false flag...

Na its the FAA, its probably due to some areas have been found to not be secure to keep the public out.

As in some place they could quickly refuel a large number of fighters and bombers.

This is wild and unprecendented, lots of people and businesses losing 10 days of commerce for what?

I have no idea but wouldn't we have a Texas military airbase that could work for that?

The temporary closure of airspace over El Paso has been lifted. There is no threat to commercial aviation.

All flights will resume as normal.

The proper framing is "Mexican drones breached U.S. airspace near El Paso, Texas; drones disabled".

If verified, it doesn't matter whether they're cartel or government drones. Mexico cannot maintain sovereignty over its airspace. This is casus belli for proactive neighbourly concern.
