I think an issue is not that these files are nothing of note, but rather than a lot of people have become so jaded to the released files that they are not paying attention to the fact that the Federal Government is willing to release files that are of an unknown threat or nature. 

It's not just that people want a alien getting prep-walked video, but now people are demanding that they get access to an alien that may or may not be in governmental custody. Those of us that have been here for a very long time know that these files are a big deal. 

What gets me is that since folks aren't being fed alien bodies and their tech, then it doesn't warrant their attention. The information in these files, yes all four drops so far, provide a lot of data to go over and cross reference. We need to get back to digging into these types of releases and stop walking away from everything that isn't hitting us in the face.

Probably because it's in their interest to have an unknown or a threat they can use for whatever.

My interest in UFOs started more than 40 years ago, and I'm not interested in "a alien getting prep-walked video" (whatever that may be), I am, as I have always been, interested in verifiable facts.

Unfortunately, I don't have as much time as I had 20 years ago, so I cannot dedicate my time to these topics as I could (my last attempt was to create, along with another former ATS member, a database of sightings, reports and links to related sources), and what I have seen of these releases is nothing special, several of those were already known.
Yes, they may be "unknown", but an unknown that moves with the wind or in a straight line doesn't mean much.

The thing is with disclosure, no one really cares that much. Those of us who know already know. Everyone else just ignores it like they’ve been programmed to do. Until it materially matters to people there will be no reaction. If NASA said they found buildings on Mars there would be a little excitement but no social collapse.

I agree with your statement, in that, it seems to be at the point that we will never get the 'climax'. Which means, actual evidence that ordinary people and/or non-government scientists and other experts can interview, investigate and/or scrutinize, such as with an alien craft or an actual off-world alien, either in the flesh or via some type of advanced communication.

You are right, those of us who know already know.

I find it difficult to believe what with advanced satellite detection systems that governments possess around the world they can't identify what is in our skies or in our Earth's orbit...now as to anomalies in the ocean well that is another matter due to lack of mapping.

However, having stated that, we may not yet have the technology to 'see' them unless they want to be seen.
