It's gone beyond alarm and outrage, to sad and weary acceptance.
I was quite sad a few years ago when I realized that I had to realign my opinion. I'd always though of American farmers as noble, best-of-class, an honest hardworking people utterly deserving of respect.
That's changed. American farmers suck. Even if they had no choice, they sold their inheritance and now work for massive conglomerates whose only interest is profit at any cost. There's no more amber waves of grain, only poison-irrigated genetically modified garbage crops, grown on dead soil and chemically treated to maximize shelf life.
Maybe that's not what they wanted to be, but that's what they've become. They no longer deserve any respect for what they do.

Thank you! I like to think. I try to bring my best to everything I do, and wherever possible, assist and allow the flourishing of the light of the divine in all things. No matter how dire the situation or context. It's not about me, but I would like to think that everyone could recognize that, if they really look. I know you get it quintessentone!
