At a good 27% I can manage to get .7-.8 in each cap making a total near 200mg, it ends up losing some weight and gaining strength in the decarbing process as the moisture and some lighter elements are converted, but I've been told this is the highest CBD product I'll ever find, that's still technically natural. I have no idea where the CBD ends up. ?
Trouble happens after two weeks when my tolerance goes from one cap being too much at the beginning to needing three or four just to take the edge off. It's not manageable in a continuous medical way without a lab and technician and a good doctor in the right field of study. So impossible...
I'll admit I don't know much about the chemistry behind cannabinoids and how they convert. From what I gather the same precursor compounds convert in different ways to produce THC, CBD, CBG etc.
From experience high THC strains tend to lack CBD/CBG with the ratio often being 20/1 THC to CBD. There's system of flower types based on their cannabinoid content :
Type1 THC predominant
Type 2 balanced 1/1 mix e.g. 10% THC 10% CBD
Type 3 CBD predominant, little to no THC
Type 4 CBG predominant
It's not a system I've ever used but it's getting common hearing people mention flower types. It's probably easier just getting CBD isolate and using it as a supplement if you ever felt inclined.
I've used weed most of my life and CBD definitely makes a difference with me. We're all different though, it will take the edge off when you've had a tolerance break... Chewing black peppercorns does wonders for taking the edge off when the high's a bit much too, the caryophyllene (a terpene) mellows out the high.
