“I just spoke with the surgeon who worked on Charlie in the hospital. He said the bullet ‘absolutely should have gone through,’” Kolvet said on Saturday, noting the physician explained it’s “very normal” for a gunshot wound. “[He told me,] ‘I’ve seen wounds from this caliber many times and they always just go through everything. This would have taken a moose or two down, an elk, etc.’ But it didn’t go through. Charlie’s body stopped it.”
When Kolvet told the doctor that Kirk did not have an exit wound, he proclaimed, “It was an absolute miracle that someone else didn’t get killed.”
“‘His bone was so healthy and the density was so, so impressive that he’s like the man of steel. It should have just gone through and through. It likely would have killed those standing behind him too,’” Kolvet recalled of the doctor’s remarks. “In the end, the coroner did find the bullet just beneath the skin. Even in death, Charlie managed to save the lives of those around him.”

One of the bullet paths has to be wrong. How do we find our which one?
I hunt elk and they are like if horses were dinosaurs. They are monsters.
Also, range, energy, and velocity all play a part in a shot. Its not one range fits all like this dr is suggesting because of caliber. My bullets are literally twice the size of a .30-06. If you are elk hunting with that caliber you better hit a vital organ because you will not stop an elk with that caliber without it and you will track it for a couple miles. Just because its capable of killing doesnt make it a great idea. A humane kill is a swift kill. Double lung and heart shot behind the shoulder blade clean through. Not saying its not possible, again, just saying that smaller caliber than a .270 for a big game animal you want to be accurate. Now as far as charlie kirk goes, the front of his neck 100% looks like an entrance wound but the angle of the shot and the range with the velocity and the energy of a .30-06 i could see it maybe getting stopped by his collar bone at 200 yards. Keep in mind this also wasnt a brand new top of the line rifle he was using and who knows where he got the bullets if the bullets were old or flawed or brand new who knows. Lots of things come into play, attached a picture of an elk for comparison. Have a good day guys

Thank you. I chuckle at all the people saying "a 30-06 round would've taken his head off". Absolute nonsense.

I also consider that if there was an exit wound anywhere, there would be more injuries from that bullet. The crowd was that dense at the time. It would be very likely to hit someone else also.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

Has anyone that worked on him, come out about what was discussed in the video at the beginning of the thread (3 or 4th page maybe)
About the bullet hitting the BPV at the edge, then ricocheting upwards? That explained why his shirt went up? And why the hole in his neck was so big?

Someone on youtube even repeated the shot with an armor plate and it deflected the same way towards the neck, but I think they are saying he didn't wear any armor but it looked like an armor plate to me.

Just my "professional" opinion, but being that he was wearing a white shirt, the only body armor he would have been able to wear, and it be "hidden" as it was, would be soft armor that was also white and very light weight. Any round would not ricochet off of soft body armor such as that.

I have to agree.
I've watched the video so many times.
And from what I can find online, conflicting reports on if he was wearing it, including from his wife regarding a bullet proof vest.
But this would not have been a vest. The plating is different, and easily hidden.
All strange really. Somebody that was there in his entourage knows the truth.

Well I was WAY off on whatever page this video was linked. Had to go to Youtube to find it.
Have you watched it?
Curious what you think.

The entrance wound looks like the size of a .03-06 entrance wound to me. This is a LOT different than your usual 9mm wound most people see. Here ill post another pic so you get an idea
