Of course you are not.

Trump inflamed the situation, so put the blame where blame is due.
PolitiFact | Timeline: Was the California National Guard at LA protests when Trump thanked them?
"On June 6, 2025, protests began in Los Angeles after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents raided several city locations to arrest individuals allegedly involved in illegal immigration to the United States. Some protests turned into riots after protestors clashed with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and ICE,[sup][a][/sup] but most remained peaceful and occurred within a small stretch of downtown Los Angeles."

You really should make a thread on it if you want to hash it out.
The national guard was only there to protect ICE agents from death and serious bodily harm.

Ignore what 80 to 90 percent of the gangs are doing. Murder, pushing and trafficking drugs, and human trafficking. Where the majority of blacks murdered is from black on black violence. Then take specific gangs doing the same thing as other gangs, and then call it “right wing” violence. Now that’s cherry picking.
LoL
So now we are downplaying right-wing violence by comparing it to gang crime?
Extreme right-wing violence isn't just random crime.
It's motivated by hate, racism, and politics.
And it targets people because of who they are, and the colour of their skin.
How is that ignoring what 80/90% of gangs do?
And saying "black-on-black violence" ignores context.
Most violent crime happens within communities due to poverty, segregation, and lack of resources, not race itself.
And to suggest otherwise is quite frankly racist.

It is a complete lifestyle that you live 24/7 (I'm not saying it's bad -- but it is like a protective cocoon).
You are assigned what time you go to church -- along with all your neighbors to create unity. Like being part of one big family -- rarely associating outside that family. Kind of cultish.
I loved it -- except for the religion part
Here's an interesting article that may give us another glimpse into what may be happening with online nihilism. Not that I am saying this shooter was a nihilist, nobody really knows anything about his motives, except that he said he wanted to stop the spreading of hate and that desire can manifest from anyone from any source.

" When Memes Become Manifestos"
"Now, the battlefield is digital. Memes are the uniforms. Irony is the marching chant. Online spaces provide community without discipline, grievance without structure, and violence without boundaries. In America especially, the bridge from imageboard to action is reinforced by easy access to firearms. The result is a culture where the leap from trolling to terrorism is frighteningly short."
Memes, Nihilism, and the New Far-Right - by Nick Wade
This is scary stuff if it comes to be true in this case.

All I did was ask you for a source and you say because the TV news said so, and now you have to respond by labelling me something that I am not. There is no point in discussing this topic further with you.

The member who originally brought up this topic should have been the one to make a new thread, since everybody seemed to be okay with that, I responded.

Fortunately in Yeat's time the newspaper did not follow you around, live in your pocket, scream at you, and cause you to become addicted to it for social interaction and dopamine hits, let alone programme, change itself to fit what it thought you liked to hear or read and thus further tunnel-vision your burgeoning mental illness.

Ground News can be quite helpful in "Sorting the wheat from the chaff" information-wise.
Or at least it generally provides articles that cover the right, left, and centre.
