He scared them because he was able to get a lot of young people to realize that the "do what thou wilt" philosophy of the extreme left was not a good thing. I don't think anybody with a conservative voice has gotten into the ears and minds of young people more than him. The other side was losing members because of him. Their tactics weren't working so well anymore and becoming a joke because of confident, upright people like him and all the people he inspired to speak up for what they believed in.

Agree or disagree with what he said doesn't even matter. He was really building a movement and I think a lot of people just couldn't stand it.

I think conservatives have a smaller percentage of violent nutters, especially when we include protest violence, where even the January 6th debacle has questionable origins and manipulations. Because if we were to use whataboutism, what would have happened if that many angry leftists gained entry into the Capitol, we might have had Nepalese-type violence and destruction well if Nancy didn't call in reinforcements
