Watching certain tone deaf people continuously attempt to justify someone's murder over words has that effect.

Because there is no reasoning with them.

Ignoring the fact that some political speech is seen as hate speech by others or the mentally ill does not help to solve any future problems of stopping this type of violence recurring. It's a problem that needs to be investigated, discussed and somehow remedied.

I think going forward this is a key aspect that we should be noting. If we look at the most recent mass shootings as well as this one, the alike outweigh the unlike in similarities. We need to be asking why.
