I seem to remember the left collectively attributing the events on Jan 6 to Trump's words. Also the Summer of Love was acceptable destruction, not at all fueled by the indifference from media or democrats.

He kept getting released right back out on the streets, till he finally brutally murdered an innocent young girl, who by the way, was a refugee from Ukraine. She escaped the war, only to be murdered on her way home from work by a nutjob who should have been in jail or a mental institution.

And thanks to soft on crime policies in Liberal cities, this is not the first or even the 50th time this has happened.

Framing it as "acceptable destruction" ignores history and somewhat overstates the impact it had.

Comparing a political insurrection to a largely nonviolent cultural moment simply misrepresents both events.

What is it you would like to see take place, a civil war, because somebody shot Charlie Kirk?

There are a lot of unanswered questions about that guy:

"His mother told local television she sought an involuntary psychiatric commitment this year after he became violent at home. Doctors diagnosed him with schizophrenia.
 Court records show a judge ordered a psychological exam in July at the request of his public defender to determine whether he was capable of contributing to his own defense. It wasn’t clear if the exam was scheduled or why it didn’t happen before the late August attack."

It looks like those with severe mental illness/disorders who commit crimes slip through the cracks because the necessary resources just aren't there.
