Yes, I understand that, but if that is a screengrab from the CCTV of him ascending the stairs..... where's his gun?
We've been told they have film footage of him entering the campus, going up the stairs, accessing the roof, then jumping off the roof before leaving the campus into a nearby neighbourhood.

TV news speculating that the press conference that was scheduled and now pushed out a few hours, is pushed out because they might have the person in custody and are just getting their facts together before they come on TV and make announcement.

They are just talking heads speculating ... but some are former COPS and agents so it could be.

Likely, this photo was taken after he ditched the rifle in the woods and went into the nearby neighborhood sans gun.

 but if that is a screengrab from the CCTV of him ascending the stairs..... 

- He could have planted the gun in place prior to the event.  That's most likely something that he'd do while casing the place for the assassination.  Take the gun to the roof the day before when there were no crowds and he could get there without detection.

- OR this picture is from prior to the event ... while he was casing the place.   "They" said on TV that the shooter would have been to the roof in the day or two prior to the event to case it and they could have gotten the picture from the cameras from the previous visit.
