EXCLUSIVE: This morning my team received an e-mail from officer at ATF.

The email included a screen shot from what appears to be an internal message describing a weapon and cartridges located by an ATF and other law enforcement near the scene of the Charlie Kirk shooting at Utah Valley State University.

"On September 10, 2025, at approximately 12:24PM, Conservative political influencer Charlie Kirk was shot and killed at the Utah Valley University in Orem, UT. Mr. Kirk was speaking at the University as part of the American Comeback Tour. Multiple SLC I and III agents responded immediately. The suspect fired one shot from an elevated position on a rooftop in an adjacent building on the campus and surveillance video shows the suspect, jumping off and fleeing the area on foot. ATF and other law-enforcement located an older model imported Mauser .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle wrapped in a towel in a wooded area near the campus. The location of the firearm appears to match the suspects route of travel. The spent cartridge was still chambered in addition to three unspent rounds at the top fed magazine. All cartridges have engraved wording on them, expressing transgender and anti-fascist ideology. An emergency trace has been submitted an ATF SLC is working leads generated by the trace. The firearm and ammunition have been taken by the FBI for DNA analysis and fingerprint impressions. Upon completion of forensics, the firearm will be disassembled for additional importer information. Multiple people of interest having contacted or detained because of eyewitness testimony and review of video footage. The primary suspect is yet to be identified. ATF is assisting the investigation with multiple other federal, state, and local partners and the case is co-led by the FBI and Utah SBI.""

If this is really the case, the kid asking Charlie the transgender questions when he was shot, needs to be interrogated. In the press conference yesterday, a reporter specifically asked if the person asking Charlie the transgender shooting questions had been detained. The police officer said no. 

Seems fishy that the person was asking Charlie those specific questions when he was shot. Seems like coordination.

I agree. I think people lose site that the things they can control in their life is far more important anyways. Family, work, friends, those are all things that we can have direct impact on, and are going to enrich us far more than any political climate. 

And I agree, the question remains on if it’s a lone nutter whether the topic of mental health has as much relevance. Unfortunately I think all the options are on the table. I think it’s safe to say this was political, and I lean towards someone who is unhinged. But I think it’s possible there is more at play. This was a shot that could be done by someone familiar with firearms and well practiced. But I think this kind of shot you’d have to battle adrenaline more than at the range which means not any unhinged person could have done it even though it wasn’t super far. It took planning, and the competence for an escape route when most lunatics don’t plan that far and just assume they’ll die.

If it is someone else, I don’t think it’s wild to consider they may not be a domestic force. The world has been in chaos for many years now. America has been at a crossroads geopolitically. I don’t think it’s insane for some foreign actor, state or not to know that the best way to hinder America is to put us against eachother. This possibility is far lower in my read on things… but I don’t think it’s zero.

It's pernicious. I'd suspect some kind of agenda to either adapt the populace to accept AI generated characters, or obscure deepfakes. Worth a thread, imho.

If I am being honest here, anyone that has been an avid hunter, or even just someone who has been shooting for a bit, could hit a 200 yard shot like that with a scoped 30-06 pretty easily. 

But that is just my opinion.

In past situations, collectively, we weren't as intune and most times it is a lone nutter but not always... which lulls the GP to sleep

I'm a lousy shot.    It took me forever to qualify with my M16 each time I had to go to the range and do it while in the Army.
