Charley was shot in the throat according to the latest info available. As of this writing no suspect has been apprehended..... There was a suspicious person on a roof like when Trump was shot but.... For his family I hope justice comes quickly; RIP Charlie...

It's not that I -want- there to be a civil war in America, but it's certainly starting to look like things are heading in that direction.... and I am not entirely sad about that.  I think one gets desensitized to stuff like this after a while.  I am surprised the suspect wasn't found and shot immediately at the event, as usually that is the case.  Perhaps it's "professional"...

One of Charlie's most famous quotes was along the lines of "once the talking stops the violence starts" and he went out of his way to talk to any side who wanted to. Thats an admirable trait no matter who you are or where you come from. You don't have to like or even agree with my opinions...and I vise versa...but if we talk long enough I bet we find a lot of common ground...thats what isn't wanted. Left...right...up...down...90% or better of us just want the same main things. We aren't different at all perspectives aside...we are all the same.

Having seen the images of the person on the roof and that potentially being the shooter, I was very surprised to hear they caught someone - because this was a well organised professional hit IMO.
Then we hear they actually don't have the suspect and the person they arrested was not the guy.
Makes more sense.
The assassin may never be found and every hour that passes makes it less likely.
I suspect he may be out of the country by now.

There are many candidates in terms of who paid for this - but it's almost impossible to do anything about it or stop it, so security is going to have to be a lot tighter. It's unlikely we will see any more outdoor events.

Once upon a time it was worth more to live free for a collective of people than it was to give that up and die...they fought a war as the most absolute underdog and won. This should be revolted against by every human lucky enough to be American. And sadly thats where the problem lies...there are multiple generations now who are A Ok with this violence to their end. That puts us on par with Stalin and Mao...Pol Pot...wtf...we aren't that damn different...

Witches Curse on Charlie Kirk Two Days Before Shooting

The website Jezebel has released a statement after paying witches to put a curse on conservative activist Charlie Kirk - just two days before he was shot and killed Wednesday at a Utah college event.

As news trickled in of Kirk's assassination on Wednesday, the left-leaning website issued a statement clarifying the timing of the post.
 The outlet continued:  'Jezebel condemned the shooting of Charlie Kirk in the strongest possible terms.
'We do not endorse, encourage, or excuse political violence of any kind.'

So these witches put a hex/spell on Charlie Kirk two days before he was killed.   And now they are saying they condemn political violence.    Well .. what did they expect was going to happen?   If you put a curse on someone then something bad is to be expected to happen to them.   Their crys of 'no political violence' ring  hollow.

So did they find the gunman? I have a obligation to ensure my families safety.

No.

The FBI/Police botched two arrests of the wrong person.

The shooters are still at large.

And yes, I said multiple, because I'd bet a box of donuts there were more than one person involved.

And it looks like someone who knew how to handle a high powered long distance 'hit' .
