Would a professional choose such a packed event?  So many opportunities for it to go south. 

However only one round fired.   That's a dilemma.

I think there's at least a few instances of professional hits taking place in public or crowded events

The speech delivered by Trump concerning this shooting is, once again, nonsensical. He exclusively mentions Republican allies when discussing shootings, while entirely omitting Democratic victims. The right perpetuates hatred and division, prompting some deranged individual to feel compelled to take action, which is not representative of the left's approach.

So an angry Republican took Kirk's life?

No. What I am stating is that if an individual, whom I consider to be misguided, chooses to take action against the hatred and division propagated by the right, and if that person is associated with the left, they do not represent our party.

And yes, we can't ignore how this rhymes with the attempt on Trump.

It was a poor shot.
