Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) is the latest and much less apparent thalidomide. 

That makes perfect sense. And all the developmental problems it caused leads us to the generational learning problems and eventually to the mass shootings from mental problems caused before birth.  Also causing the rise in transgenderism. 

I know this pill well. I have to use it for pain because I can't have NSAIDs. Too much and it causes liver damage. During pregnancy, it apparently causes brain development problems for the child.

Now, who pays for this medical industry induced nightmare?

Oh the self inflected disaster this is. At least it will be over in less than a hundred years, assuming they ban the stuff for expecting mothers.

If we look at the leadership within the last couple of decades, I would say both sides lean into authoritarianism 

That's what we get when we elect narcissists & sociopaths 

whether it's Marxism, Communism, Fascism or Nationalism doesn't matter 

I think America has been sliding into totalitarianism for a very long time

Too much power at the top will turn any country authoritarian at some point. I just think socialism (which fascism and communism are one of many forms of by the way) will speed up that process (or even do it instantly) and actual conservatism will slow it down since it wants to downsize government, which is really needed. I do think a relative high degree of socialism (theyre all on a scale) can work in small countries, with less power to amass and a flatter hyrarchie, with certain cultures for a long time. Look at north Europe countries for example. But what works for one country is a recipe for disaster for another, especially if you compare a small European country to the United States.

Medical practitioners will tell you acetaminophen is safe in moderation, to stick with the recommended dosage and to only take it if necessary.

This is based on decades of research. We shouldn't readily believe one meta-analysis over established medical standards.

I'd wait for those standards to change before taking this seriously.
