Suspect found dead in his storage unit. Apparently he shot himself.

Official press conference soon.

So, if he shot himself, then he probably didn't choose a gun free zone so that he could avoid being shot.

Maybe all schools and colleges are gun free zones and it's a bit hard to avoid them when they are everywhere, instead of mad gunmen 'choosing' gun free zones?

Your logic escapes me. He did not in fact get shot in any gun free zone. He went to those because he wanted to shoot people and not get shot at that time. He succeeded twice. He then decided he would not get away or had finished what he wanted to do. That is when he ended himself of his own decision.

Gun free zone makes it worse again. 


Personal grudge against the college he attended and possibly an individual that he had a personal grudge against. We will have to see what is found.

Fox News has stated the MIT professor and the shooter went to the same school in Portugal. They studied physics together. Sounds like a personal grudge with a known associate for that shooting. 

Perhaps the shooter was disappointed with his education for the other shooting.

He had gone through a bad divorce a few months ago. That could have put him in a bad mental state. 

He had moved to the area of the shootings from Florida in early October. He had been planning this for a while.

This sounds as if it were a long descent into his personal madness. Stressor upon stressor... until one modifies and adapts or snaps. If humans were a batch experiment, we'd fail because we currently have too high a spoilage or defective rate.

I wonder if he did shoot himself. They can fake that. But I've seen serial killers and criminals who get tagged with crimes they may or may not have committed. It just ties up loose ends and helps the police get a good rating of solved cases.
     I'll have to wait to see how the shooter ties in with the victims. And why was the onlie profile of Mustapha Khartouche suddenly and inexplicably pulled?

Then medical staff and the coroner would have to be in on the fake suicide shooting too and then there are too many people involved and the truth is then more likely to leak.

This reminds me of Breaking Bad.  How Walter came up with a lot of the ideas for the corporation that his friend and partner got rich for, after Walter got sick or left the company.  And then his friend becomes this mega million billionaire Gates type while Walter is on the sidelines dying of cancer.  
So then Walter snaps and sends hitmen to his friend's house, but of course in television they are just threatened, no one dies and they all 'make up' and agree to help Walter funnel money.
The real life version ends in blood shed and no reconciliation.
