I guess my question to you is...Do you think that DMT or any admixture of natural chemicals in the brain invalidates these experiences? I'm not talking about popping random street drugs.
IF so, how do you explain other things like the shared details of experiences like the 'feel-good void?' Or other synchronicities that happen?
In my soft NDE I didn't see loved ones waiting for me at the golden gates, but peep this...
My grandfather went in for a routine operation on his liver to remove a non-malignant mass; no complications were expected. I went to visit him in the hospital post-OP where they wanted to monitor him overnight. I KNEW that was the last time I'd ever see him. Just knew. That information just popped in when I saw him and hugged him. Around 4AM I awoke from sleep and saw my grandfather standing over me smiling. He was younger, and radiant! but he looked pretty much as I remember him while growing up.
Of course later in the morning the family phone calls made the rounds. He had passed in the early AM hours.
HOW do you explain that kind of hallucination, FF? How?!
My life has been filled with numerous such synchronicities. Answers come to me in sleep; revelations, songs and music, messages, and even visions like my grandfather.
In fact even recently, his wife visited me in a dream (Okay this one was an actual dream, not a vision or whatever.) She had a message for me concerning my brother. I have NEVER dreamed of her. And I'm sorry to say she and I had a terrible relationship and she's not someone ever on my mind. But her message got through.
Maybe we shouldn't be so quick to dismiss things that we don't fully understand just because it contradicts what we think we already know.
As always, I am skeptical myself. I observe and see it unfold without much reaction, but when stuff like that happens, it's really hard to dismiss and ignore and downplay as 'DMT nonsense.' It may be some kind of bridge.
And then my other question to you would be: As a person of faith in the God of Abraham, how would you validate or invalidate any biblical miracles? Maybe some of them old-timers and prophets had involuntary access to that DMT bridge without fully understanding it themselves.
It's a wild and fascinating life!
