I find this all to be extremely fascinating, both from an artistic appreciation and a scientific appreciation. I would, in particular, like to look at the human body, with all the very delicate nerves and such.
I've known a taxidermist or two in my life, and it is an amazing art, requiring not only a vast amount of patience, but an intricate understanding of musculature, and tendons and other connective tissue. Add to that the artistic creativity to cause a still representation to suggest movement and life is incredible. From what I understand, the soft tissue plastic pieces, such as the gums and tongue, and eyes have come a very long way in the last few decades.
Alas, I have a fondness for sour and not much of sweet, so little interest in the cherry pie.
