An odd wine question...

Probably 40-years ago I fell in love with a wine...

It came in a fish-shaped bottle, bearing the name Fazi Battaglia...

I have seen the new generation of their wine... it's not in a fish-shaped bottle... or was it ever?

By any chance does anyone recall this bottle, or am I stroking out... suffering a Mandela effect... or maybe it's senility.... is that you Mommy?

Pescavino is a wine blend from the same region that comes in a fish bottle, is it possible you're remembering 2 wines and blending them in your mind?

That verdicchio grape sounds really nice and I imagine young wines from it would be lovely.

I remember a fish-shaped bottle of wine from more than 40 years ago, although that was a particularly blurry day.   It was my 24th birthday, and I was in The Palms, a women's bar in Santa Monica.   It was red wine, and my memory of the bottle was that it was quite tall, at least 24 inches, however I could have been remembering it from the perspective of on the floor.    I was required to drink it all, and then later on we transitioned to drinking flaming Grand Marnier  shots.   Still can't stand that stuff to this day.
