Once upon a time, the President had a sign on his desk that said "The buck stops here".

Trump is the current President and had been President 5 to 8 years earlier! This stuff leading to this tragedy clearly happened under both his Presidential terms.

I'm sure that if Trump had such a sign on his desk about who takes ultimate responsibility, his sign would say "It was the udder guy... He went that a - way... Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk..." (But the sign would be in gold leaf).

Might have a point if there wasn’t scores of lawsuits and injunctions against the Trump administration.  With dems telling the military to not follow unlawful orders where they can’t name the actual unlawful orders given by Trump.  So, Dems through innuendo are telling the military to abandon their posts.
