I was just wondering if it were true that coastal states experience more abductions/sightings, then there are seven US states (Southeastern/Gulf of Mexico) that are not included, why?

As for Canadian data, from the link below, if coastal location mattered, the highest numbers should not be coming from three interior provinces Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario, albeit only one borders a Great Lake.
