LVMPD Sheriff Kevin McMahill stated at a press conference that the operation is an isolated incident with no threat to the public.
At 5:51 a.m., LVMPD SWAT served a search warrant on a house on Sugar Springs Drive, where evidence of possible biological material, including refrigerators with vials of unknown liquids, was found.
Meanwhile, the FBI searched a nearby house on Temple View Drive and found no threat.
The LVMPD All-Hazard Armored HAZMAT team is collaborating with local HAZMAT teams, the FBI, fire departments, and state partners to ensure proper recovery and mitigation.
"This is an extremely complex investigation, obviously involving multiple agencies and a tremendous amount of resources," McMahill said.
He emphasized the importance of a slow and methodical process to ensure safety, noting that a large presence of first responders may remain in the area for several hours to several days.

Specialized FBI hazmat units found refrigerators with vials of biological material. Local police claim this is an isolated incident and the public are not at risk. As of now we have no idea what kind of biological materials were found or whose residence it was, but the FBI sure seemed to think whatever they found was potentially dangerous. I’ll be interested to learn about this mysterious individual that none of the neighbors had ever met, that had a secret biolab in his house with dangerous biological materials, that were of interest to the FBI. It could be nothing, but it’s something I will be keeping an eye on, because the only time the Dems are able to win an election is when a man-made virus “leaks” and creates mass mail-in ballots for them to harvest and ship to swing states in the middle of the night, like Fulton County. Stay frosty.

probably making some kind of neurotoxin like sarin or something.  not enough info in the article to tell what was going on.  I don't have a smokehouse to smoke fish, that would be a biolab I suppose, and you got to have a fridge to put the smoked fish in when it is done...sometimes the fish smells pretty fishy, you might need a hasmat suit to clean out the smoker if you forget the fish in it or forget to put in more woodchips or run out of fuel.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A suspected biological laboratory raided by Metro police and the FBI may be connected to a similar incident in California, where officials found infectious agents such as HIV and malaria, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned.
Police and the FBI searched the home on Saturday, Jan. 31, finding a “possible biological laboratory,” including “refrigerators with vials containing unknown liquids,” police said.
Shortly before 6 a.m., a Metro SWAT team served a search warrant at the home on Sugar Springs Drive near Washington Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard to search for a possible “biological laboratory” inside the home. A second location was also searched, but no lab was located.
An LLC tied to the home’s county records matches the name of a company that is part of an ongoing federal case in California involving a biological laboratory there. In that case, a Chinese citizen faces federal charges for allegedly manufacturing and distributing misbranded medical devices, according to federal prosecutors.
