Did Tesla predict the future of technology?

 Tesla's Secret Time Travel Connection.

Tesla predicted several future technologies.

He envisioned wireless communication for a start.

Which became reality through radio, then with wifi and smartphones.

He also foresaw the development of the likes of drones, and remote-controlled machines.

It's a safe bet to say he influenced plenty of the technological advancements we see today.

A good conversation for the metaphysics and religion forum.
You should start a thread there with this Tesla quote as the topic.

We might need a few Teslas along the way though!

It's all good.

"Time"

Tell me about "Time"?

Maybe we need to understand that "Time" doesn't really exist, and maybe that knowledge can help us to travel in deep space.

Time is real though, just not always as we imagine it.

It's a dimension, like space, woven into the fabric of our reality.

Put it this way, without time, nothing could change, move, or even exist sequentially.

You explained that very nicely, but your perception is based on your human existence.

When I left my body then I realized that time in our existence is an illusion.

But I do get your point because we live in this "illusion".

Yep, for all intents and purposes, spacetime is very real.

It shapes causality, dictates motion.

And determines what now even means relative to where we are.

Legend says the U.S. Navy tried to make the USS Eldridge invisible in 1943, and it vanished. Some claim Nikola Tesla's electromagnetic theories inspired the experiment, linking him to time travel and teleportation tech.

Remember that Tesla believed that everything in the universe resonates at specific frequencies. He said "If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration" ... and I agree with that.

What do you think?

I believe that when we leave the body then there is no time, but I am not sure if humans will ever understand why.

Maybe one day we will understand that if we deserve it!  Grin

I was reading about this the other day, officially the story is that it was an experiment to make it disappear - from radar..and that was basically it. The ships name is kind of suspect though. Maybe an accident involved, experiment gone wrong, people hurt or something to that effect and coverup that usually goes along with projects of this nature

Gosh I don't believe I hadn't noticed that before. The "USS Eldridge". This reality really lays it on thick some times.

Quote:Namesake

John Eldridge Jr. was born in Buckingham County, Virginia, on 10 October 1903 and graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1927. After flight training at Pensacola, Florida, he served at various stations on aviation duty. From 11 September 1941, he was Commander, Scouting Squadron 71, attached to Wasp (CV-7). Lieutenant Commander Eldridge was killed in action in the Solomon Islands on 2 November 1942. For his extraordinary heroism in leading the air attack on Japanese positions in the initial invasion of the Solomons on 7 August and 8 August 1942, he was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross. ¹

Oh look, he was made Commander on September 11th 1941, and led the air attack on the Solomon Islands in '42.

Time, time, time. Who has the time? The only way we can measure time is through change. Yet change isn't constant, consistent or viewable. At any moment in time, no change is occurring, everything is frozen in time. Which makes change impossible.

It gets even stranger, as you get older time appears to move faster. I read a scientific explanation for this, which the short and skinny of it is. A younger brain checks the time between ticks more often than a older brain. Which makes it appear as if time is passing faster. Like staring at a clock, time appears to drag by.

But As I have gotten older you will have a hard "time" convincing me of that explanation. As I recall when I was younger I did a lot more things in a day, than I can currently fit in a day now.

The only thing I know about time, other than the above is. I don't have enough of it.  Eureka
