Do you know any Wiltshire farmers?

I do.

Brand new Range Rovers and expensive tractors and stuff don't come cheap.

They aren't exactly Crofters....

It’s the same way in the states.

I get that farming has its risks.  And huge capital expenses.

But love when you ask a farmer how they are doing and they reply looking down from their new $100,000 pickup truck, “Just getting by.”  When you can look up the thousands if not hundreds of thousands in government subsidies they have gotten over the years.  But I love good bread and brisket.

"Working hard or hardly working?" Hardly working.

Isn't that the truth. I just painted a 1,000 feet of 4 rail fence for a farmer, and he isn't even big time. The subject of poor came up, as he was complaining about the amount of paint it was taking. Never mind the well over 10k in lumber he had in the fence. I told him I grew up poor, I had to eat a lot of vegetable dinners, that were grown in the garden. He said yeah I grew up poor too. But we always had meat my dad was a cattle farmer.

Then he got in his 100k truck and drove to his 25k side by side to drive to the tractor, which was a 100k or more, to drive to feed his 30 horses.

I thought dang, must be tough to be poor.
original crop circles were an imprints of landing gear or engines at work. Never meant as a form of communication.

Whole thing was hijacked into, eventually, an art wrapped into mystery. I remember a witness testimony where he went do investigate 'bold spots' on his own crop field. What he discovered there to be a craft sitting one morning. Think it was in France around 1950s or 60s.

Is this the Maurice Masse case from 1965?
