Surely, if your ideations are not supported by empirical observation, by others as well as by yourself, they are provably delusional?
Someone with a background in developmental biology would have encountered issues of neurodivergence, which is an inevitable and necessary result of our, rather incredible, self-organising neuroplasticity?
Even among the trans community, there is diversity of expression and ideation. Most classifications are fuzzed-out as more of a continuum of possible states, which also change over time, not some sort of clear-cut, cast-in-stone, binary on/off.
As a microbiologist friend loved to say, "A trained organism, in a controlled environment, will do as it damn well pleases"!!!!
This, and the inability to truly apply the scientific method, is what prevents psychology from being science.
If a person has a mental illness, be it gender dysphoria or schizophrenia, we shouldn't be encouraging the illness.
Telling a guy that he's a girl is just as bad as telling the person hearing voices in his head that the voices are real.
