If you had a neighbor, who openly said he hated you and would kill you and your kids and your family would you want them to have a gun? No. Same thing here. We have 40k troops in the ME. This is about them also and their protection.

So that would be your own Director of National Intelligence who thinks that Iran does not want a nuke or is working on one.
