- You have to have boots on the ground from outside Ukraine in order to win the war.
- There is no reason for Russia to make a peace deal ... they, unfortunately, are winning.
- And, if the war was to end, the boots on the ground from UK/Europe would be armed and combat ready .. and they'd be there forever. Just like the DMZ in Korea.
This is for Europe/UK to deal with.
It's their backyard.
They can pay for it.
We've already paid 100 billion by some estimates, and gotten nothing for it but a stalemate and a financial black hole.
Europe/UK can put the armed troops there, call them 'peace keepers' and pretend that they aren't really 'boots on the ground'. Not us. It's THEIR backyard. Not ours.
And while all this planning is going on .... no one can be trusted. Not Putin. Not Zelenskyy. Not Trump or the American congress/senate. Not Canadian/UK/Europe leadership. Not Russias buddies like N. Korea or Iran or China.
