Ukraine's rare minerals deal with the U.S., to me, sounds better and better the more I learn about it.
Rare minerals underground in Ukraine are estimated to be worth Trillions of dollars, not to mention the smaller amounts of natural gas (smaller amounts of oil) underground.
Unfortunately, this deal could only guarantee short term security for Ukraine and neighboring countries until the U.S. puts their corporate boots on the ground there then extracts their $500 Billion payback amount, then they are vulnerable to Russian attack once again?
There has to be security measures put in place for the long term, but Putin won't go for that. So what's the solution?
